WWE Women's division (High School drama edition)

Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah. Two women who defined the women's division in wrestling. During Mae Young's time, it was pretty much unfathomable for a woman to wrestle. Cause wrestling was a guy thing. But she did it anyway, because it was her passion. These two women are respected for what they did. Cause what they did was pave the way for future women in wrestling.

Women like Lita, Trish Stratus, and even the women we see today like Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Bayley, and Becky Lynch. Back during the attitude era, Lita and Trish Stratus were carrying out the legacy that Mae and the Fabulous Moolah started. They were putting on amazing matches, heck, they even main evented Monday Night Raw. That still happens on Raw today. Charlotte and Sasha Banks have main evented Raw and put on some great matches. But there is one problem with the women's division, and that's their storylines.

Why is it that women in WWE go through storylines that are pretty ,much High School drama? Like triangle relationships for example. Like, that happened in the attitude era, and I never understood it back then. I still don't understand it now. You have talented women, and yet you're making them act like teens. Whether it's complaining about not getting what they want, or becoming furious about someone stealing their so called "boyfriend".I hate seeing this talent get wasted. It happens way to often in WWE these days.

These women deserve to have better stroylines, longer matches, and main events not just on shows, but on pay per views also. We were promised a women's revolution. They weren't going to be called divas anymore. Yet, they still act like them. I mean, to say everything is going to change, then give Nikki Bella the WWE divas championship. You serious? Nothing has changed. I mean, yeah they changed the title to the Women's championship, but that doesn't change the characters and storylines.

The sad thing is, it's not just on the main roster. It's on NXT too. Now, there aren't very many talented women in NXT right now. I only like Asuka. I think she's great. But again, they aren't being treated right. They need storylines that show us they are mature women that can handle anything, instead of whining, complaining teens.

Do you agree with what I said? Are you bothered by this, or could you care less? Let me know in the comments. You can also tweet me @MJWesney
